Since 1985, the Gerstel family has personified excellence in quality pre-owned office furniture in the Washington, DC area. With all of the founding family members active in the business, you can be assured of the personal service that only a local, family owned business can provide.

We have three retail locations that surround DC and each has its' own specialty.

The Fairfax, Virginia showroom and warehouse is truly unique in the used office furniture industry. The largest selection of traditional furniture on the East Coast is on display in this store. Pieces ranging from a Kittinger top grain leather top executive desk with gold tooling, a Baker Partner's desk with drawers on both sides, Harden executive U shapes made from solid cherry or an antique hutch are just some of the items you will find here.

Also in the Fairfax location is our 5,000 sq. ft. refinishing shop. Here is where we take the well built, well used desks constructed out of fine walnut and mahogany veneers and refinish them to the high quality standards that we have set over the years for our furniture.

Our Gaithersburg store has a range of contemporary pieces in stock. Our showroom is a Who's Who of contemporary office furniture. At any time you will find brands such as Knoll, Herman Miller, Brueton, Gunlocke, Steelcase, Kimball, Bernhardt, Jofco and even the occasional Hon piece. Here our furniture is sold either fully refurbished or in as is condition.

Herman Miller modular workstations are sold out of both of these locations. Our designers will gladly come out to your site and discuss with you the proper layout and components to best suit your needs. They will take field measurements of the space and provide you with 2D and 3D layouts of the proposed furniture layout.

Our Brentwood, MD location is primarily a warehouse, but it does have a small area set aside as a clearance center. This is where the $10 chairs are located that are $10 for a very good reason or two.
